The 2011-2012 school year marks my 11th year here at Gilder. Seven of those years I had the opportunity to teach some pretty fantastic 6th graders, and this is my fourth year as Instructional Facilitator. I love Gilder Elementary and am so happy I'm able to work with such a dedicated staff and such wonderful students and families!
I was born and raised here in the Omaha area, and, as a student, I attended Omaha Public Schools from kindergarten through high school. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Go Huskers!), and I received my Master's Degree in Administration from Doane College.
I love being an educator and enjoy working with both the staff and students to assist in achieving academic success in the classroom. I also value the importance of building character and enjoy working with students in preparation for our monthly "Character Counts" assemblies.
